David is 12 weeks old as of 1:06 am Wednesday, February 28, 2007. It is so hard to believe that it has only been that long since he came into our lives. He is massive compared to the size he was when born! Diana has been taking such good care of him and his size and health prove it. He is healthy as far as we can tell and based on what the doctor tells us, he is growing well, and he is getting very interactive.

David's vocalizations are getting particularly diverse these days. He has gone from the odd "whoooo" sound to a steady stream of cackles, shouts, and even some giggles. His new thing is to shout in the middle of the night when he wakes up! He is also much more interactive and, especially in the morning, will put on a smile show that just has to put you in a good mood. It even works on me, the least morning-person person out there.

He is still learning how to stay asleep at night, though, and wakes frequently. Falling asleep does not seem to be his best skill, but we are told that will come. For now, though, some nights are better than others. No complaints, though, as I would not really want to be doing anything else.
