Fun and Games
Today was the first time that I felt sure that David was imitating my facial gestures. Very exciting! We laughed and smiled and had fun imitating each other for a while. Later in the day, he opened and closed his mouth as he watched me eat a banana.Tomorrow we get weighed at the pediatrician's office. We think David must be over 9 pounds by now. He's had a growth spurt in the past two weeks and has suddenly outgrown his newborn clothes. He's getting big before our eyes!

It looks like in this picture that his eyes are lightening up some. Is that so, is that just a flash effect?
